General Chat: Are most of you on worship teams?

    Just wanted to know if most of you that frequent this sight are either on a worship team or are worship leaders? For those that are, how old are you and how long have you served in this capacity? ( I'm 30, and have served on a worship team for approx. 6 yrs.)

    I'm 18 and have been involved in worship teams since I was about 10. only very occasionally to begin with, playing my violin and later singing. My last couple of years at home I was heavily involved, often playing violin, singing or playing bass guitar. I'm now a data projectionist, and occasional bass player.

    I wish I could serve on the worship team. I run sound as my ministry and have been since I was about 13 years old. Being 21 now, that's how I know I can serve in the church.

    i'm 17 and i've been serving as a worship leader and occasional guitar player for four years. I'm not that good but that has never stopped me from worshipping God =)

    When I was about 14 I joined my youth groups worship team. Sadly, we stopped playing at youth group after a few years for a couple of reasons. I help with the sound every once in a while now.

    Well im 15, and have been in skits, choir, human videos, and other things, and i have neem doing that since i was old enough to be in them.

    I'm 14 (almost 15) and i play on my dad's worship team. That's been for about a year.

    It's really nice for us though, because everyone in my family except my little brother and my mom (she runs part of the sunday school) does something when he's leading.

    It is really fun, even though my church only sings like 3 times a year, for the choir, which i am in.

    Wow, everyone is so young! I wonder if I'm in the right place. I'm 46 and I've been on about five worship teams (led a couple) since I was saved in '80. Also did a lot of solo stuff like College Career groups (when I was that age), Bible studies, "special" music, etc. I also did some sound/lights for a place called The Lighthouse in California, when I lived there, for groups like Mariah, Damask Rose and others you have probably never heard of. I'm kinda in a stage of restoration right now, so I'm not really doin' much with my music. It's soooooooo cool to see all you younger people who love Jesus.

    yeah, but dont you just miss bein a kid sometimes, I mean I get to do stuff now, but back then everything was carefree.
