I miss the games and the sigies but all in all it's pretty good.

The lyrics request page will not navigate properly. It shows eight pages of requests. I am able to access three, and they all show as page 1 of 8 .

TKFKM: We're going to try implementing a "private messages" system into this new forum so we can gain that old functionality back. I like it too.

Matt: Hmm ok we'll get that fixed as soon as possible, thanks for the bug update.

Ok - now that I've been on here a little longer and have looked at the site closer, I have to say that the navigation is pretty confusing. I just replied to a post that is OLD old. And some of the discussions I clicked on came up with an error message and wouldn't show the discussion page. So yeah . . . I need some time to get used to this! How do you know where the newest posts are?

It's ok you guys don't feel like you need to fix all the problems so soon. Just take one thing at a time and we'll be here for you guys. Great job on all the hard work you guys have doing for the site and all. God Bless you all.

Jonathan, I've taken the time to navigate through the new site. WONDERFUL job. I wish that it was possible to upload pictures and icons to your user profile. I know that I can deal with this by posting on the Web which will be done. Thank you for all of your work, I know from experience how tedious coding is. THANK YOU my friend.

Woops! That's something we'll definitely look into!

Leinad: We are slightly modifying how the site functions and we will be having some management meetings (yes, we're an actual company behind the scenes here) about how to process these things.

We are only licensed by certain record labels to display lyrics, so right now we have closed to free-for-all lyrics submissions. We may open them up in a different manner soon though.

If you're an independent music artist that doesn't have your lyrics copyright by a legal record label yet, we will be more than happy to post them with a copyright to your name. All you need to do is mail to them: indielyrics * AT * christian-lyrics.net -- but format that like an e-mail address. Once I receive them and we have our meetings, we'll be able to process them accordingly.

Please put them into a Microsoft Word format and if there's an album to the track(s), please add that as well. Please also make sure you clearly cite the author's name so we know who to copyright the lyrics to.

Jonathan, I still can't logout!! I was able to send a private message yesterday but now am unable to find this function. Any suggestions? Things may be more usable for me if I logout and sign back in. HELP!!

I don't know if this has been said because I read half way down this page and gave up haha (i need to go back to school lol). I think it was sort of half mentioned. I can see that it gives all the "recently" posted topics but it was a lot easier when it just told me what ones i hadn't read. It's just a bit hard to tell what I've looked at, replied to..etc.

Matt West: We're still looking into the logout issue. As for private messaging, there is a problem with the plugin that we're looking into. We hope to have it fixed for the next push in the next few days. One thing you might want to try is clearing all of your cookies.

Matt: What do you mean by the amount of "context" of the comments?

We can look at improving how the comments are displayed. But if you look to the right, it shows "Last Active" and how long ago. Are you thinking of maybe something like a highlight of the last posts in the past 24 hours or something of that manner? What do you think would be effective?

Matt: That's a good point about BBcode. We'll modify that soon so it's a bit more clear to everyone.

It's basically code like [ url = <LINK HERE ] text link [/url] etc etc so you can post links and what not...
