    Aimee or John..............
I probably asked this in the wrong forum before so I got no response. I am looking for a song sung by Fernando Ortega and Allison Krauss several years ago. It was nominated (or won best in bluegrass/gospel that year?) I have heard it once on the digital TV contemporary Christian channel but not since then. I really am a fan of both A K and F O and the song was really beautiful...I have no word, phrases or anything to it. Sorry

I dunno if this is the song ya is talkin' bout "Children of the Living God." Here are the lyrics just incase ya remeber the song. If the song is wrong check the site http://lyrics.crossmap.com/artist/ortega-fernando.htm until ya find the right song there.

    Children Of The Living God

    Children of the living God
Come and sing, sing out loud
    Children of the living God
    Sing to the living God.

Sing of the wonders he has made
    But in flight, falling rain
Sing of the wonders He has made
    Sing to the living God.

    Chorus:
How He loves us with great love
    He who sits enthroned above
For our lives He spilled His blood
Sent His Spirit like a flood
    Children of the living God
    Sing to the living God.

Sing of His gentle, healing hands
How they found the lowliest man
Sing of His gentle, healing hands
    Sing to the living God.

Sing of the mercy that He gives
    Though we sin, He forgives,
Sing of the mercy that He gives
    Sing to the living God.

    (Rpt. Chorus)

Sing for the morning star when He comes
    In the clouds, glorious Son
Sing for the morning when He comes
    Sing to the living God.

    (Rpt. Chorus)

Yes, it is "Children of the Living God"........I was only able to get that much by googling...but I couldn't get any further than the song title, so you got alot more than I. Thank you. Now I have to see if my local Christian store will order the album for me from just knowing the song.
    Thanks again.
