Finally, a Christian band from America that i listen to & like coming to Australia!! :D
I.e. Casting Crowns are coming in January.

I'm getting tickets for Christmas. It should be good.

I love their music style, but even more amazing are their lyrics & heart.

    AWESOME!

Casting Crowns in concert is a definite treat, they are amazing. It's been quite some time since I've seen them live, but you're definitely in for an amazing show :)

    Emi,
How was the concert? Casting Crowns is one my very favorite groups, but I have never been one of their concerts. Give us an update!
    Thanks,
    Tamduff

It's on this Thursday, so i shall let you know later this week, or next week. :)
    It should be good though.

Apparently it's their first time in Australia. No surprise though, most bands don't even come here at all (except Third Day who came every year).
But it's completely sold out (and did so quickly too!)

Ok, i told you i'd let you know how the concert was.

It was great!! They are a great band live! Some bands alter their CD's so much that they sound horrible live; but not Casting Crowns! (Sure, like everyone, they do alittle; but they have amazing talent that they don't need to as much as some!)

Great selection of songs: What If His People Prayed, If We Are The Body, Voice of Truth, Who Am I, Praise You With A Dance, Lifesong, Praise You In This Storm, Does Anybody Hear Her, Love Them Like Jesus, What This World Needs, Slow Fade, East To West, I Know You're There, All Because of Jesus.

Ok, so it's hard to have a bad selection of songs when you're playing almost all your songs... and all your songs are great.

But, maybe even my favourite part of the night. Was the (numerous) times that Mark would stop in between songs and speak. Speak about God, Jesus, and some Bible teaching (mainly relating to the song meanings). And the 'call' (or rather statement) that if people wanted to know God, they could.

It was amazing. I think almost every seat was filled; but it's hard to know 'cos i was fairly near the front.
First time to Aussie, & sold out. Mind, the Hillsong Arena only seats about 3,000.
