Hi just joined the site. I like to compose christian songs and so far have 115 songs. I record them on a Boss BR 1180 CD digital recording studio and play an Ovation pinnacle semi acoustic guitar. Would love to record in a studio but cant afford it.:)

Thanks for getting in touch .When I get an idea for a song it may only be one or 2 words but I make sure I write them down. Sometimes I just sit with the guitar and mess about with chords until something clicks. Most times I write the song first and then add the chords later. I have recorded some new songs on christianbands with the capo on the 7th and 6 th fret which makes a change and also tried detuning the guitar to eabebe but what helps me is having a built in tuner on the guitar. Don`t knock yourself, if you can play guitar , piano and keyboard you are well ahead of many people and don`t let anybody knock you down in your ability and singing. Just follow the Lord`s guidance and rejoice:) God bless joseph beggs

Hi jingle, sometimes we need to push our selves a little to really see what we can do. Remember, our GOD supplies our every needs...even our need to reach for our dreams (and a guitar?)! I believe one of these days you will be able to write beautiful songs too and you will be amazed of how God works in our lives.I really think singing while playing the clarinet is quite impossible though hahaha!Keep the Faith! Hey ive been playin for like three years i was all into punk music and some ska but recently ive been transgressing into accoustic. Ive actually changed some insane punk songs ive written in nice accoustic songs its pretty rad. I love writng songs to my lord but also on like different things. I have pro life songs and politcal stuff i guess its kinda like accoustic christian punk rock.
