ey!! i've seen Casting Crown's interview recently, i never knew Mark is a pastor..WOW.. he really inspire and touch me, i wish all pastors could do the same like he does, i mean atleast accept any kind of Gospel music in their church..
Yes, Bob Hartman was great. He was the one who formed Petra, way back in the 70's.
As for Mark Hall from Casting Crowns, he was a youth pastor at Eagle Landing. It is a Chrurch in McDonough, GA-where i live. The entire band is still actively involved in the Church and often perform free concerts when they are in town. I've met them all. They walk the walk and don't just talk the talk. They inspire me.
The only place I can go is into your arms Where I throw to you my feeble prayers in brokeness I can see that this is your will for me Help me to know you are near
when your hope fails and there on none you can run on to there is God who always open his arms Oh what a great and loving God do we have I am proud becuase of Jesus and his Blood that wash over me.
Amen! God says in Hebrews 13:5-I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
This song is a reminder that He is with us through whatever trials and tribulations we may be going through. Just as Christ incarnant walked with Daniels 3 friends,Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, through the fiery furnace. I just love that story!!!
Yes!! praise be to the Lord for his unfailing love for us.
I am proud becuase our God is a God who always look after us, unlike other gods who needs to be waken up every hour, our God is a God who always knows our move our sitting down and going, unlike those gods who just sit somewhere and bless his people.
I love nearly all of their songs. Their home Church is closeby, so I have been blessed to have met them. They often give free concerts there when they are in town too.
Who am I, that the Lord of all the earth Would care to know my name Would care to feel my hurt Who am I, that the bright an morning star Would choose to light the way For my ever wandering heart
Not because of who I am But because of what you've done Not because of what I've done But because of who you are
I am a flower quickly fading Here today and gone tomorrow A wave tossed in the ocean A vapor in the wind Still you hear me when I'm calling Lord, you catch me when I'm falling And you've told me who I am I am yours, I am yours
Who am I, that the eyes that see my sin Would look on me with love and watch me rise again Who am I, that the voice that calmed the sea Would call out through the rain And calm the storm in me
I am yours Whom shall I fear Whom shall I fear 'Cause I am yours I am yours
My new one is "East to West"
Here I am, Lord, and I'm drowning in your sea of forgetfulness The chains of yesterday surround me I yearn for peace and rest I don't want to end up where You found me And it echoes in my mind, keeps me awake tonight I know You've cast my sin as far as the east is from the west And I stand before You now as though I've never sinned But today I feel like I'm just one mistake away from You leaving me this way
Jesus, can You show me just how far the east is from the west 'cause I can't bear to see the man I've been come rising up in me again In the arms of Your mercy I find rest 'cause You know just how far the east is from the west From one scarred hand to the other
I start the day, the war begins, endless reminding of my sin Time and time again Your truth is drowned out by the storm I'm in Today I feel like I'm just one mistake away from You leaving me this way
I know You've washed me white, turned my darkness into light I need Your peace to get me through, to get me through this night I can't live by what I feel, but by the truth Your word reveals I'm not holding on to You, but You're holding on to me You're holding on to me
Jesus, You know just how far the east is from the west I don't have to see the man I've been come rising up in me again In the arms of Your mercy I find rest 'cause You know just how far the east is from the west From one scarred hand to the other One scarred hand to the other From one scarred hand to the other
