Too, many live with a neglected spirit Overlooking the sensitivities of the soul. We need additional love and compassion If man’s glory on earth is our goal.
Bombs set off in marketplaces and streets Teachers and students shot in school. Infants snatched when parents turn their backs And the elderly mugged by the heartless and cruel.
Old forests stripped for commercial ventures Woodlands laid bare by the poor seeking fuel. Groundwater polluted and unfit to drink With industrial waste in the fisherman’s pool.
Corporate greed causing layoffs and business collapse. Dirty foul air choked with pollution. 800,000,000 who go to bed hungry With war and terrorism the solution.
Distressed by events or by personal loss Many question why God does not intervene? It’s up to us to rise above human wrongs Overpowering the misled, cold-blooded and mean.
It’s not the last days of mankind on earth But the last days for the sadistic and unforgiving. God’s Word promises the righteous will endure So advance your behavior and begin living.
